Eggplant purple

baby bukser romper

I knitted this toddler romper/trousers in Pickles exrta fine merino it has he most amazing deep eggplant purple. The pattern is from Sandnes garn hefte Baby 1415, the design is by Liv Stangeland. I have something of an obsession with knitting baby clothes at the moment there is no reason behind it but there incredibly cute and you can choose and an allover pattern without being stuck with it for a lifetime.

I wish it where possible to subscribe to Sandnes hefter, there pattern booklets and altho I don’t knit all the patterns I look at them for hours and hours for inspiration, wouldn’t it be nice to come home and find the new issue of amazing inspiration once a month. But they don’t come on a regular schedule nor have subscriptions since it not a magazine just pattern booklets from a yarn company.

I have a newsletter, it will come occasionally and with previews of new designs and coupon codes. It will most likely not come more then 2 times a month and you can unsubscribe at any time.

your baby knits are so inspiring!!! i’ve started to knit baby garments and i am also totally addicted. it’s so fun to see the Project grow so fast and it always ends up so cute. 🙂 i also agree on sandnes patterns. i love them all, and i wish they were more accessible. my local yarn shop sells sandnes yarns so i probably can get the booklets from them, but it would be much easier for me if the patterns were available online. but the booklets are all so pretty! i love the styling and the photography and i want to knit Everything in them! by the way, you can look at all the Pictures on sandnes.no. better than nothing!!

Thank you and congratulations to a new obsession. Yes digital or/and subscription would be much more accessible, think of coming home to find a treasure on your doormat after a hectic day and sit down to look through all the new patterns and plan future projects.
