Faunajakke from Paelas an other little cardigan made in Novena wool/alpaca blend yarn with porcelain buttons. I used 4 skeins for size 2 years. I really like this pattern but it’s a bitt of a pain to knit, I like to have a rest row in lace knitting but this pattern have alternating ribbing as a base to the lace which means that you have to keep track to the lace pattern on all rows however it is well worth the effort for this. the pattern does not have any neck shaping so I added a few short-rows at the neck just before the ribbing in order to make the front neck a little lower then the back. The Novena yarn is braided not spun which makes it light, fluffy and airy. This cardigan weighs 105 gram buttons included, very light which is nice and makes it a perfect layering pice not adding a lot of bulk underneath some outer wear. Nice for small people that have a tendency to be immobilized of there outerwear in the winter.
